General Information:

Metroad 5 is a major arterial route in the inner western suburbs of Brisbane which passes through residential and commercial areas and by-passes the inner city of Brisbane, connecting the Western Freeway with Gympie Road and the northern suburbs. The route is a mix of divided and undivided arterial roadway.

History:

1995: Metroad 5 replaced State Route 20.
October 2006: Metroad 5 between along Western Freeway between Darra and Toowong was replaced with M5. 2
