South Australia: Jamestown
Incorporating photos and Information
from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways

Jamestown is a medium sized town located in the heart of the Mid North region of South Australia. The town, while lying on an important road junction (B80/B79) is the centre of the strong grain and sheep industries. Not a great deal of interest in town although the main street and town centre is very well presented with a large and green median strip amongst a colourful shopping precinct, several heritage listed buildings as well as the various parklands abutting Belalie Creek
