Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Delamere is a small village on the road between Adelaide and Cape Jervis.

The town was originally known as Glenburn before being renamed to Delamere, after Delamere in Cheshire, England.

Delamere offers magnificent views over the Backstairs Passage and Starfish Hill Wind Farm.
