General Information:
State Route 83 is an arterial route in Perth's northern suburbs. It provides a direct connection to several main roads leading to Perth's CBD and also the Mitchell Fwy (SR2), the main north-south route in Perth.
The route consists of undivided and divided roadway, and passes through residential, industrial, commercial and bushland areas.
History:
- June 2007: Installation of traffic signals at the intersection of Gnangara Road and Alexander Drive near Landsdale. 2
- 2010: State Route 83 was truncated at Wangara, with the section from Wangara to Henley Brook renumbered as State Route 84. A small portion of the former alignment at Landsdale was reconstructed and renamed Pollino Gardens. Gnangara Road (SR83) was re-routed onto a new connector road linking Mirrabooka Drive (formerly Madeley Street) with Ocean Reef Road.
This page concentrates on the former alignment between Wangara and Henley Brook
