Metropolitan Route 44 is a suburban arterial route servicing Melbourne's northeastern suburbs. It passes through mostly residential and commercial areas and some semi-rural zones at the eastern end.

Metropolitan Route 9, for 700 m, Kangaroo Ground.
Metropolitan Route 46, for 500 m, Rosanna.
Tourist Drive 2, for 800 m, between Ivanhoe East and Eaglemont, and for 1.3 km between Eaglemont and Heidelberg.
