General Information:
Metropolitan Route 44 is a suburban arterial route servicing Melbourne's northeastern suburbs. It passes through mostly residential and commercial areas and some semi-rural zones at the eastern end.
Multiplexes along the route include:
- Metropolitan Route 9, for 700 m, Kangaroo Ground.
- Metropolitan Route 46, for 500 m, Rosanna.
- Tourist Drive 2, for 800 m, between Ivanhoe East and Eaglemont, and for 1.3 km between Eaglemont and Heidelberg.
