General Information:

Metropolitan Route 23 is a suburban arterial route, linking the upper Mornington Peninsula with Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

The route is a mix of divided and undivided roads, passing through residential, commercial and industrial areas as well as Moorabbin Airport.

2007: Railway level crossing replaced with overpass where Middleborough Rd crosses the railway at Blackburn. 2
