General Information:
C506 is a rural route in the Yarra Ranges east of Melbourne that passes through residential and bushland surrounds. During the winter months it's an alternative route for C505 (Donna Buang Rd).
Multiplexes along the route include:
- C505, for 5 km, between Badger Creek and Mt Toolebewong.
History:
- 1930: Country Roads Board constructed the current Myrtle Creek Bridge replacing a World War 1 structure. 2
- December 2013: Work began on 1200 m of shared paths along Don Rd from Harberts Road to Warburton Highway in Don Valley. 3
