General Information:
Known locally as Princes Drive, C104 is the former Princes Highway alignment through the Gippsland town of Morwell.
It is mostly divided urban arterial road standard, servicing most commercial and residential areas.
History:
- 1925: Princes Highway declared as a state highway, even though the name was in use for years prior. 2
- 1985: Work begins on stage one of a bypass of Morwell to the south of the existing highway. 3
- 1990: Work begins on stage two of the Morwell bypass. 3
