General Information:

A8 is a highway in Tasmania, Australia. It traverses the eastern side of the Tamar River, from Launceston to the lighthouse at Low Head.

The route is a mix of limited access dual carriageway highway, urban arterial road, rural highway and local road standards, and connects several important routes in the state's northeast.
