General Information:

A6 is a divided suburban arterial route in Adelaide's western suburbs, connecting the CBD with the city's coastal suburbs. It's mostly 2 lanes in each direction and services residential, industrial and commercial zones.

Sir Donald Bradman Drive is named after the Australian cricketer widely acknowledged as the greatest batsman of all time.

History:

1 January 2001: Burbridge Road between Tapleys Hill Rd (A15) and James Congdon Dr (R1) was re-named Sir Donald Bradman Drive. 2
June 2017: Traffic lights upgraded to LED lanterns at the intersection of South Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive. 3
15 January 2018: Work commences on improving access around Adelaide Airport with the installation of an additional right-turn lane from Sir Richard Williams Avenue onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive. 4
