General Information:
State Route 84 is an isolated rural route in Queensland's north. Signage is basic and quite a bit lacks route numbering. Kynuna Road is a one lane (115km) fully sealed road. 2
Multiplexes along the route include:
- A6 (Flinders Hwy), for 3 km, at Julia Creek
- National Route 83 (Burke Developmental Rd), for 1 km, at Four Ways
History:
- October 2013: Completion of the sealing of Wills Developmental Road from Gregory to Burketown. 3
- 21 December 2015: Completion of construction of temporary replacement bridge over Beames Brook at Gregory. This replaced a low-level timber crossing. 4
- 2016: Work commenced on widening the road between Julia Creek to Burke and Wills Junction. 5
