General Information:
Tiger Brennan Drive is a mostly limited access dual carriageway arterial road which bypasses a large swathe of strip development in Darwin's eastern suburbs. It also directly links the satellite town of Palmerston with Darwin. Northbound traffic heading to Darwin on the Stuart Highway is directly funnelled onto Tiger Brennan Drive. The route passes through bushland, industrial, commerical and residential areas.
Signage along the route is inconsistent in showing the A15 route number, with the majority of A15 signs at the eastern end of the route.
Tiger Brennan Drive is named after Harold "Tiger" Brennan (1905-1979), a prospector and politician; a battler for the underdog and a champion for self Government, in later years he was Mayor of Darwin and was awarded the OBE. 1

(b) Graham Ross Bridge – being the road bridge over the outbound lanes of Tiger Brennan Drive, which is named after Graham Ross, a pioneer of the Territory trucking industry. (c) Midpul Bridge – being the pedestrian bridge over the Stuart Highway, which is named after Prince of Wales, a Larrakia artist who was born with the tribal name Midpul. 6
