General Information:

B81 is a connector route, linking the Hume, Mid Western and Mitchell Highways. Used together with the Hume and Barton Highways, it links Canberra with the west of the state. It services several rural communities along its route and is single carriageway undivided roadway.

Multiplexes along the route include:

• A41 (Mid Western Hwy), for 300 m at Cowra

History:

• 2003: Morongla Bridge: A new and wider bridge over the Morongla Creek south of Cowra on the Lachlan Valley Way. 2
