General Information:
B95 is a rural route linking several key small towns in the New England / North West Slopes and Plains region of New South Wales. It consists mostly of single lane undivided roadway, in many cases without sealed shoulders, except around the Tamworth area, where it is of urban arterial road standard.
A few old bridges dot the route, and north of Manilla the road traverses more hilly terrain than in the south.
History:
- 1886: Construction of the Manilla bridge over the Namoi River. 2
- 2005: SR95 widened at Oxley Vale.
- 2013: State Route 95 route number replaced by B95 between Tamworth and Warialda.
