General Information:
Clarrie Hermes Drive is an arterial route that links Gungahlin Drive to Barton Highway (A25). It services residential and rural areas and is 2-lane undivided road.
The road is named after Clarence Lindsay Hermes (AM), who was an Australian barrister and magistrate. 1
History:
- 18 October 1991: Clarrie Hermies Drive added to the Public Names Register under Gungahlin Major Arterial Road Names. 2
- 21 March 1995: Clarrie Hermes Drive corridor gazetted between Horse Park Dr and the intersection that would eventually become Kellaway Av. 3
